SpVgg Greuther Fürth wants to continue on the successful path with coach Alexander Zorniger in the long term. The Franconian second division soccer team has extended the contracts with 56-year-old head coach and assistant coach Jurek Rohrberg, which expire at the end of the season, until June 2026.
“We are very satisfied with the development we have made since Alex took office. I appreciate the collaboration with Alex, his drive and how he lives our club,” explains Managing Director Sport Rachid Azzouzi in a press release.
Promotion places within reach for Fürth
13 months ago, Zorniger took over in Fürth and led the Kleeblatt from 18th place to twelfth place.
