Double packer Maina will probably leave Hannover 96 at the end of the season and was very emotional on the sports show microphone after the final whistle: “I didn’t expect it to be so emotional. I knew it wouldn’t be easy – eight years, I came here when I was 14 – after the two goals and the substitution I fought back the tears – they came too a few. You don’t forget eight years.”
