299 drivers checked after traffic checks in Kortemark and Diksmuide

The police checked a total of 299 drivers. Checks were carried out on the Staatsbaan in Kortemark and in the Oostendestraat in Diksmuide.

Of the checked drivers, four tested positive and seven drivers were driving under the influence. Three drivers had their licenses immediately revoked. In addition, a driver had to leave the car on the side because the driver was driving without a valid driver’s license. Another driver received an official report of a warning for not being able to present a valid inspection certificate.
