A dead man was found in a forest in Rüdersdorf in Märkisch-Oderland late Friday evening.
After the body of the 27-year-old was found, the homicide commission began investigating a homicide, the East Police Department said on Saturday.
Investigators are now looking for witnesses who made observations near the site on Woltersdorfer Straße between Wednesday and Friday evening.
The police initially did not provide any further details about the alleged homicide.
