25 years splash! – Anniversary Festival takes place a week earlier

The splash! Festival is turning 25 and is celebrating properly – the anniversary edition of the hip-hop festival is set to be the biggest to date. It has been possible to buy tickets since August, and now the waiting time for fans has been reduced even further: As the organizational team announced, the festival is to take place a week earlier than originally planned.

First of all, the festival should take place from 6.-8. July 2023, the new date is June 29th to July 1st, i.e. exactly one week before. Anyone who has already bought tickets but is unable to attend the new date can purchase the tickets via the platform DICE hand back.

“With our anniversary edition, we want to offer hip-hop Germany the best splash! version of all time – a major challenge these days,” says festival director Till Arndt. In the summers since the beginning of the pandemic, festivals have had major problems due to a lack of staff and resources. “By moving the date, we are strategically avoiding these problems – and at the same time shortening the waiting time until the splash! 2023.”

The splash! will take place, as in previous years, in the Ferropolis in Gräfenhainichen east of Dessau. The first artists will be announced in autumn. Early bird tickets are already sold out, so fans shouldn’t wait too long to buy tickets.
