238 refugees moved to empty hotel in Sprang-Capelle

In Sprang-Capelle, 238 Ukrainians and status holders are accommodated in an empty hotel. According to the municipality of Waalwijk, the former NH Hotel will be used for the reception for a maximum of one year.

Next month the first new residents will come to Sprang-Capelle. There are no other houses in the immediate vicinity. Residents who live further away have now been informed by the municipality.

The hotel, which is located in a prominent place along the Midden-Brabantweg N261 (Waalwijk-Tilburg), has been vacant since it was sold to Van der Valk. Which, according to the Brabants Dagblad, plans to substantially renovate the hotel. But now it is first rented out for a year.

The municipality of Waalwijk provides security day and night.
