A 22-year-old man was stabbed in the Overschiestraat in Nieuw-West at the beginning of the afternoon. The man was taken to hospital with multiple stab wounds. The police have arrested a 40-year-old man.
The stabbing near Delflandplein happened around 1:15 p.m. According to a police spokesperson, both men are from the area and there was a conflict going on before the incident.
The 40-year-old suspect has been arrested, but has yet to be heard. Witnesses or people who know more about the incident are asked to come forward.
