A 21-year-old woman from Bergen died of her injuries after she was hit by a car on the Zeeweg between Bergen and Bergen aan Zee yesterday morning. This is reported by the police today.
Emergency services were alerted about an accident on Zeeweg around 10 a.m. yesterday morning. A 41-year-old motorist from Bergen and the 21-year-old pedestrian were involved in this accident.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Here she died of her injuries. The woman’s next of kin have been notified and will be assisted by a ‘family agent’. Victim support is also involved.

The driver has been questioned by the police for an investigation into how the accident could have happened. Police said there was no drug or alcohol use. Witnesses are called upon to report to the police for the investigation.
