Forces of the police’s special task force arrested a man in Neu-Hohenschönhausen on Thursday morning.
At around 6 a.m., the specialists entered the 19-year-old’s apartment on Biesenbrower Strasse with an arrest warrant. This was preceded by investigations by the murder commission, which led to strong suspicion against the 19-year-old.
He is suspected of having participated in a fight in Alt-Hohenschönhausen on March 18, 2023 in which a 21-year-old was killed. He is also said to have committed aggravated robbery on July 31, 2022.
The suspected criminal was brought to the Tiergarten district court for the arrest warrant to be issued. The investigations are ongoing.
