He can keep losing…

Union Berlin wins the fifth derby in a row. At Hertha there is a 2-0 win.

It is the third bankruptcy in a row for Sandro Schwarz’s team. Despite only a measly 14 points and 17th place in the table, he will remain in office! When asked whether Black should stay even if he lost, sports boss Fredi Bobic said before kick-off: “Absolutely!”

But why should he keep losing? Hertha sometimes had “really exciting games”, Bobic explained during the week. Added to this is the “great atmosphere” within the team. Now it’s against Frankfurt, Gladbach and Dortmund until the end of February Augsburg comes to the Olympic Stadium.

For sports: In an uneventful game, a set piece is once again the key to success.

44 minutes: Trimmel hits the free kick into the penalty area. Doekhi is accompanied by two defenders – but nothing more. He climbs up and heads in from 11 meters.

67 minutes: Khedira wins the ball against Kempf in his own penalty area. Becker quickly moves forward. In the penalty area he puts it in the middle, where Seguin only has to push into the empty goal. 2:0!

Hertha is playing much better than the previous games. The first shot on goal comes in the 74th minute – and thus the fifth bankruptcy in a row (4 leagues, 1 cup) against the city rivals.

Will there even be a five-time Champions League winner at Union soon? The club is rumored to be dealing with Isco (30)! The former Real Madrid star is currently without a club. President Dirk Zingler presses around on Sky: “It’s a great honor for us when Isco is associated with us. Of course we are also developing in the field of transfers.”

A denial sounds different…
