Alanyaspor held a signing ceremony at Cengiz Aydoğan Sports Facilities for 27-year-old left-back Jure Balkovec, who played in Fatih Karagümrük, and 20-year-old midfielder Cem Çelik, who played in Menemenspor, one of the PTT 1st League teams.
At the ceremony, a 2+1 year contract with Balkovec and a 5 year contract with Cem Çelik was signed.
Aytemiz Alanyaspor Club President Hasan Çavuşoğlu, in his speech at the signing ceremony, said that they are continuing their transfer work.
Stating that they have overcome their left-back deficiencies with Balkovec, Çavuşoğlu said, “He is already a successful player. He is a player that everyone knows. We thank him for choosing Alanyaspor. He is a football player that we believe will continue his success in Karagümrük more and more in Alanyaspor. Good luck to both our community and our player, he is welcome among us.” said.
Stating that Cem Çelik is an important football player for them, Çavuşoğlu said that they are happy to add the talented player to their squad.
Balkovec, on the other hand, stated that he has entered a new stage in his career and will do his best for the team.
Cem Çelik also stated that he is happy and proud of being a member of the Alanyaspor community and said, “I hope to contribute to Turkish football by proving myself to the Alanyaspor community first on this long road.” he said.
