2. Bundesliga: FC St. Pauli wins at Jahn Regensburg – 2. Bundesliga – football

Jahn is overrun

It wasn’t the St. Paulians’ first chance and more were to follow. A big one in the 10th minute, as St. Pauli were awarded a penalty. Again Paqarada had flanked azuf Amenyido. And he was knocked off his feet by Jahn-Keeper Alexander Meyer in the penalty area. Burgstaller didn’t miss the chance from the penalty spot and made it 0:2. Burgstaller should have increased the lead to 0:3 in the 14th minute, but the ball bounced off the empty goal and the striker shot over the goal.

In the second half, St. Pauli didn’t give a damn, but then conceded the goal to make it 1:2: After a corner kick, Andreas Albers was the quickest in the scrum and shortened the lead for Jahn (56′). Regensburg now wanted to step up the pace and increased the pace again.

Kyereh scores in Regensburg urge period

But St. Pauli fought back: Substitute Daniel Kyereh scored in the 68th minute after a fine interaction with Burgstaller to make it 1:3. The game finally advanced to an open exchange of blows. Next up was Regensburg again: David Otto reduced the lead to 2:3 after a long shot by the opponent simply slipped through and the Jahn striker had a clear path (73′).
