A new activist has settled in the Sterrebos near Born in the night from Thursday to Friday. This reports action group Save the Sterrebos to L1. This brings the number of protesters back to three. There have been environmental activists in the trees of the Sterrebos for a week now. VDL Nedcar, the owner of the forest, wants to build where the trees are, but the activists are against that. After a year without carnival, something more seems possible this year. Venlo archivists discover a Jocus prince from 1898
During a historical investigation, the Jocus magazine De Träöt, the Jocus Archive and the Jocus Museum have found the name of a Jocus prince that was unknown until now. The researchers found the name of the prince in an article in the Limburger Koerier of 11 February 1898 and speak of a special discovery. Read more here.
