Noriega, who has 1.7 million followers on TikTok, posted a cryptic video to his account the day before his death, captioning it: “Who else thinks he’s going to die young?” The young man had struggled with his mental health for some time and admitted in Barstool’s podcast ‘BFFs’ that he took drugs before he was ten years old. “We’re talking about Xanax, Aderall, marijuana and nicotine,” it sounded.
Last Sunday, Noriega informed his followers on Instagram and TikTok that he would be setting up a Discord page that would focus on mental health. “I’d like to use the influence I’ve been given to create a place that focuses on awareness and normalizes talking about mental health. My goal is to eventually open a rehabilitation center where people are not traumatized at the end of their stay.”
