Today the amendment to the Pension Regulations will be voted on in Parliament. In concrete terms, from January 1, 2024, all parliamentary pensions will be capped at the statutory maximum pension of 7,813 euros gross per month. As a result, almost one in three retired MPs will soon receive less pay, according to internal management documents that our editors were able to view.
