1860 appeal unsuccessful
Richard Neudecker (25) will not be available for TSV 1860 Munich in the game against 1. FC Kaiserslautern on Tuesday (7 p.m.) due to a DFB error. As Munich announced on Monday, the midfielder has to serve out his yellow card suspension from matchday 24 again. According to the “Löwen”, the reason for this is a “wrongly recorded” warning in the away game on the eighth matchday against Hallesche FC.
Neudecker saw a yellow card for a foul in the 75th minute, which was attributed to Milos Cocic (18) in the DFB system. The latter was part of the squad in the game, but was not used at all. The Munich side refer to the shirt numbers when making the mistake: Neudecker wears the 31, Cocic the 30. Neudecker was cautioned for the fifth time this season on matchday 21 against Wehen Wiesbaden, but only for the fourth time in the DFB system. The midfielder then sat out away at Viktoria Köln, although he should have played. Most recently, the former junior national player saw the next yellow card in the game at FSV Zwickau, which according to the DFB system now blocks him for the duel with the “Red Devils”.
BVB and SCF talents dominate: The most valuable players in the 3rd division
“Despite the objection by TSV 1860 Munich, there is no change on the part of the DFB, the responsible association refers to the obligation of the clubs to monitor the game after the game. Although TSV 1860 Munich did not sign off on the match report, Milos Cocic received a yellow card and Richard Neudecker had to sit out against 1. FC Kaiserslautern,” a club statement said. Neudecker is the undisputed regular in coach Michael Köllner’s team this season and has made 25 appearances so far (five goals/eight assists).

Wrongly warned player: MSV Duisburg at the DFB without success with objections
The “Lions” are the second team in the 3rd division this season that the German Football Association (DFB) failed with an appeal because of a wrongly warned player. MSV Duisburg is still keen to contest the classification of the game against Borussia Dortmund II on matchday 25. Franz Pfanne (27) from Dortmund was used in the 3-1 defeat of the “Zebras”, although he should have been suspended due to five yellow cards previously.
In the previous game at SV Meppen, it was not Pfanne but Maik Amedick (19) who was cautioned for a foul. However, the latter was on the bench for the entire 90 minutes. In this case, too, the shirt numbers were close together: while Pfanne was number 23 at BVB, Amedick (before his loan to SC Wiedenbrück) wore number 22.
