186 construction companies in West Flanders bankrupt

Last year, 186 construction companies went bankrupt in West Flanders. That is a lot more than in 2021 when 135 companies went bankrupt. The low point was 2014 with 200 bankruptcies. On the positive side, there were a lot of starters, almost 1,900. But that also causes the high number of bankruptcies because young companies often have no or insufficient financial buffer.
