In Nikolassee, the crew of a civil patrol by the traffic police on Wednesday night noticed a highly motorized BMW M8 that was speeding much too quickly on Berlin’s Avus motorway.

The 18-year-old driver overtook the emergency services around midnight on the left lane of the A 115 in the direction of Zehlendorf. Then he loudly accelerated his vehicle.

During the subsequent pursuit, the video measuring device documented a top speed of over 280 km/h at the permitted 100 km/h.

Raser had only had his driver’s license for 6 months

Behind the Hüttenweg junction, the police officers overtook the BMW and guided it off the Autobahn at the Spanish Allee junction.

The car and the 18-year-old driver’s license, which was only six months old, were confiscated by a court order.
