An 18-year-old young woman from the municipality of Edam-Volendam died in a serious accident on the N247. The accident happened near Beets and Oosthuizen.
The collision between the cyclist and a delivery van took place around a quarter to four this afternoon. The police report that the road is currently closed as an investigation is being carried out by the traffic accident analysis department.
