16-year-old Danique Landman from Zorgvlied (municipality of Westerveld) is missing. The police issued a search notice on Sunday afternoon to look for the missing girl from Drenthe.
The young woman is 1.65 meters tall and has black hair and blue eyes. The police spokesperson calls her disappearance “an urgent matter”. The police are very concerned about her well-being.
Landman disappeared from home on Monday, September 25 at 7:50 PM and because the search has not yet yielded any tangible results, the police have now chosen to ask the public for help. “We are really very concerned,” said a spokesperson who indicated that there is “no indication whatsoever” where the young woman is now.
It is not said why the missing persons case is so urgent. The spokesperson does indicate that no information at all about her whereabouts has been received since she was reported missing on Monday.
Tattoo on her hand
Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact police immediately. She was last seen in her hometown, a village of about 175 inhabitants on the Drenthe-Frisian border. The 16-year-old girl probably left on a black ladies’ bicycle with a luggage rack on the front of the bicycle that has brown handles.
Landman carried a striking small bag with a gold shoulder strap. According to police, she was wearing black sweatpants, a black vest and black Nike shoes with a white logo. She has a tongue and a nose piercing. Danique Landman can also be recognized by a tattoo on her hand with butterflies and the initials RKEH
On the national website The police keep track of all missing children (under 18 years old). In addition to Landman, 24 children are still missing. Five of the missing children have been missing since last month.
