According to the organizers, around 15,000 people celebrated the Europe Festival in the German-Polish Eurotown of Guben-Gubin on the Neisse. The cities have had a close partnership for more than 30 years. The festival was held under the motto “Solidarity with Ukraine”. With the cross-border event, top European politicians, the state of Brandenburg, Poland and both cities set an example for international understanding, peace and solidarity.
