15 artists show work in old tax office

15 artists have been inspired by the sleek architecture or the former function of the building or simply by a broad interpretation of what ‘unburdened’ can mean. Peter Defurne, curator – artist: “We have a collection of diary artists, assemblage artists, who rebuild with lost material, who work with residual material and natural elements. It is a very wide range.”

Unloaded can be seen every weekend until August 21. The exhibition fits in with the Diksmuids summer festival City under power, which also includes film, concerts and culinary surprises.
