In a house in Waspik, the police found, among other things, a self-made fireworks bomb on Tuesday evening. The owner turned out to be a fourteen-year-old boy. Other illegal fireworks were also found in the house, including several shells, cobras and illegal flares. The boy kept some of the heavy fireworks under his bed, the police reported.
“If this were to explode, the suffering would be incalculable,” the police wrote on social media about the dangerous situation they found in the house. According to the police, the boy can expect an appropriate punishment.
The police went to the house in Waspik on Tuesday evening after receiving information that illegal fireworks might be found there. The police received the same tip about a house in Waalwijk. A small amount of illegal fireworks was found there.
The fireworks found have been confiscated.
