FC Bayern strikes back in the championship duel with Dortmund, wins 4-1 at Hertha BSC. The defending champion is again six points ahead of BVB.
After the derby humiliation against Union in the cup (2: 3), Hertha tries hard, fights bravely, but has almost no chance against the record champions. This is how the horror week ends with the next low blow for Harmlos-Hertha.

Tolisso (25’/header), Müller (45’/after a Kimmich free-kick), Sané (75’/after a catastrophic mistake by goalkeeper Schwolow, who put the ball straight into the Bayern striker’s feet in front of the empty goal) and Gnabry (79th) meet.
In the end there is a lot of luck for an overwhelmed Hertha – with 29:5 shots on goal for the record champions. Only Robert Lewandowski (23 goals) does not score this time.

At Hertha, the weaknesses are particularly striking: The Berliners concede their third defeat in the third home game of the year. Only Fürth, who was at the bottom of the table, had to concede more set pieces and headers than the capital club. A glimmer of hope: super joker Jurgen Ekkelenkamp, who scored seconds after being substituted on (80th). In the end, it is not enough for more against superior Bayern.
