130 residents move into new WZC Westkapelle

They are moving from the old OLV van Troost retirement home to the brand new De Polderparel building, right next to it. The move was prepared down to the last detail, the residents had been waiting for their new home for a year. The Polderparel was built on former football fields of VV Westkapelle. The building meets the most modern standards. The municipality of Knokke-Heist will give the gigantic site of the old rest home a new purpose. The new residential care center will cost almost 25 million euros.
