THE HAGUE – It was not busy on the highway near Hamburg when the eye of German customs officers fell on the three spare wheels under the semi-trailer of a Polish truck at half past three on the night of 20 to 21 June 2020. They seemed too big and were additionally secured with tension straps. They turned out to be storage depots for drugs.
