A motorist was arrested yesterday after a short chase in Helmond. The driver ignored a police stop sign and sped off. The driver violated several traffic rules.
The driver then abandoned his car and fled on foot. After the description was distributed, the motorist was arrested in a firebreak. During the arrest, officers used a stun gun.
Police found narcotics and a large amount of cash in the suspect’s car. The drugs, money and car have been seized.
