The police arrested a man on Pieter Vreedeplein in Tilburg last night. The 42-year-old Tilburger was approached by an officer because he was behaving aggressively. During that conversation he became emotional and started shouting. During that conversation, he suddenly reached for a knife that he had hidden in his belt.
Another officer was already standing behind the suspect as a precaution and managed to grab the man in time and wrestle him to the ground. The officers reported threats and attempted serious assault.
