A man was seriously injured on Friday evening in an accident with his scooter on Schootsestraat in Eindhoven. He crashed on his scooter and then continued to slide across the road. He crashed hard into a pole in the bend. His scooter ended up against an underground container.
Two ambulances, an air ambulance, the fire brigade and several police units were called to provide assistance. The man with brain damage was taken to the hospital in Tilburg under the supervision of a trauma doctor. His life is feared.
