A moped was hit by an agricultural vehicle turning in the Van Lanschotstraat in Achtmaal last night. The agricultural vehicle, a Unimog, turned while the moped rider was approaching him. As a result, the moped fell and slid under a car that was waiting to turn.
The driver of the moped was seriously injured. He was treated by ambulance personnel and trauma helicopter personnel. He was rushed to hospital. The police VOA will investigate the accident. The accident site has been closed off for this purpose.
