A fire broke out in an apartment complex on Koning Arthurlaan in Eindhoven on Sunday afternoon. This happened on the second floor. The resident was rescued from the burning home by police and taken to hospital. Two police officers and two residents of the complex have inhaled smoke and were checked in the ambulance.
About thirty apartments were evacuated because of the fire. When the fire brigade has finished inspecting and ventilating the homes, everyone can go home. The fire has not spread to other homes.
