The ANWB expects most traffic jams to be resolved around 7 p.m. In 2019, before corona, there was a 900 kilometer traffic jam on the eve of the Whitsun weekend. Last Wednesday, before the Ascension weekend, the busiest evening rush of the year was observed, with more than 1120 kilometers of slow-moving traffic.
