A fire raged in a house on Juliana de Lannoylaan in Waalre last night. A pan of grease had caught fire around ten o’clock. The residents first tried to extinguish the fire themselves with wet clothing. This resulted in heavy smoke. The emergency services were then called. The fire brigade quickly had the fire under control. One resident had become short of breath because of the smoke, but did not have to be taken to a hospital.
