In the center of Maarheeze, a driver of a moped scooter collided with a police car. That happened around ten past seven at the Oranje Nassaulaan – Stationsstraat – Moonslaan intersection.
The scooter rider came from the right and wanted to stop in front of the priority vehicle, but the distance turned out to be too short, after which a collision occurred. The driver of the scooter fell. He was medically examined in an ambulance, but did not have to be taken to hospital. The man then went to the police station where the police took a statement from him.
The police car and scooter were slightly damaged. Officers have reported the accident.
