At a traffic control in the center of Helmond, more than 50 fines were handed out. Most were for driving without a license (12), holding the phone behind the wheel (10) and not wearing a helmet on the scooter (8). Three drivers had also used alcohol or drugs.
The Tax and Customs Administration were also involved in the inspection. They have collected more than 74,000 euros in outstanding debts.
