Three people were arrested yesterday near a house on Leeuwenbekstraat in Sint Willebrord. At half past two, officers wanted to arrest a man in the house, because he would have committed several thefts. Upon arrival, the police saw the man’s car just drive away. They put it aside, but the wanted man was not in it. The driver was a 28-year-old man who was arrested for driving while his driver’s license was declared invalid. He appeared to be injured and said he had been stabbed by a woman. That 30-year-old woman was arrested in the house on Leeuwenbekstraat. Officers took a pocket knife. The suspect, who was wanted for the thefts, was also arrested later that day.
