The police and other emergency services have been searching for at least half an hour for someone who would have ended up in the water in the Wilhelmina Canal in Tilburg. A bystander had seen that a person had fallen into the water at the Voldijk, but did not see him or her afterwards. Then the police were alerted. A helicopter is also being used in the search.
A scooter with driver may be involved with the person they are looking for. This informs the police. Via Burgernet people are asked to look out for a yellow scooter, which is driven by a white man with a normal build and blond hair. He wears gray pants and a blue jacket.
