A car went out of control on Thursday morning at De Vest in Valkenswaard. The motorist hit a lamppost which then broke off.
Coincidentally, soldiers came along who were on exercise. They provided assistance and directed traffic. The driver and another passenger had some neck problems, reports a 112 correspondent.
The accident caused a traffic jam at the nearby industrial estate.
