Two cars collided head-on last night on Aalsterweg in Eindhoven. A driver drove away from the Van der Valk Hotel and ended up with his car on the wrong side of the road. He collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle. It later turned out that he had also been drinking. One person was injured in the accident and has been taken to hospital.
The driver, who had been drinking, tried to drive away just after the accident. That failed because the car was leaking oil. The road therefore also had to be cleaned. The road was temporarily closed.
