A hybrid car caught fire last night on the Dandelion street in Berghem. The Volkswagen Golf GTE was connected to a public charging station operated by Vattenfall. The fire was discovered around half past three at night and reported to the fire brigade. They arrived quickly, but could not prevent the car from being lost. Putting out the hybrid Golf was a tough job. The car’s battery pack started igniting again and again.
