A road inspector from Rijkswaterstaat sent away several truck drivers last night because they paused in a place where this is not allowed: on the hard shoulder along the highway. Things went wrong in various places along the A58, the A67 and the A2, among others.
Along the A67 near Veldhoven, near the Oeienbosch gas station, according to the road inspector, two drivers indicated that they did not know where they could park to rest. Remarkable, because they were standing right in front of a sign that indicated exactly that.
