A man caught three thieves in the act on Sunday afternoon. He saw around a quarter to six that the three men were messing around in a car that was parked on the Galgenbaan in Bergen op Zoom. The eyewitness walked up to the men and asked what they were doing, but they made it clear that they didn’t understand him. They then walked to another car. The observant witness saw that there was no car radio left in the car the men had been messing around in.
When the men tried to run away, the witness took the car key from them and called the police. The three Polish men aged 19, 26 and 28 were arrested. They will be heard by the police on Monday. The owner of the car has been notified and will file a report.
