It is busy on the A27 before the Merwedebrug from Hank. The delay has increased to an hour. If you want to go from Breda to Gorinchem, a diversion route has been set up. Follow the direction of Rotterdam, via the A59, A16 and A15.

06.00 – Fireworks nuisance in Sint-Oedenrode
In the Dommelpark in Sint-Oedenrode, young people blew up a trash can with fireworks late last night. “Boys… they’re usually boys… is this necessary?” a local police officer wonders. “Save your fireworks for New Year’s Eve! Although I wonder whether these fireworks are allowed,” he also adds.

05.45 – Man attacks his ex’s friend
Last night a man attacked his ex’s friend at a café in Veghel. This is reported by a local police officer who indicates that the man ‘apparently sees arguing as a solution to his problems’. The police officer has recorded a report and interviewed witnesses, he said. “Aggressive ex is coming next…”, he also warns.

01.00 – Car against parked car
Last night in Helmond, a car with three occupants crashed into a parked car for unknown reasons. The driver of the car was taken to hospital with unknown injuries. The two others left the scene of the accident. One of them later reported to the police and ambulance, but did not have to go to hospital. Both cars were severely damaged.
