Around a quarter to seven this morning, a fire was reported in a thatched roof of a building in Sint-Oedenrode. The fire broke out due to an unknown cause in an outbuilding at the Groene Woud. No one was injured. By eight o’clock the fire was under control again. The fire brigade deploys approximately thirty firefighters and various vehicles, including an aerial work platform. A team has also been called in from Elst, Gelderland, which specializes in extinguishing fires in thatched roofs.
