A motorist was seriously injured this morning after colliding with a truck. The accident happened on the Spoorlaan in Drunen, near a gas station.
Ambulance, police and fire service provided assistance. A trauma helicopter brought a doctor. This doctor took the victim to the hospital by ambulance.
The Spoorlaan is closed for investigation. It is not yet clear how the accident happened.
The car and truck have relatively little damage. It appears that the motorist may have already become unwell before the collision.
