A man drove a lamppost out of the ground on the Heesakkerweg in Asten in a drunken state last night. Then he flipped his car over. The driver, who was the only person in the car, was not injured.
The man turned out to be so drunk that it was difficult for him to walk a few meters straight. No one else was involved in the accident, which happened around 9 a.m. The man has been arrested.
