A woman was seriously injured after a collision with a delivery truck this afternoon. The accident happened on Jan van Amstelstraat in Gemert. A helicopter took the trauma doctor to the scene of the accident. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Nijmegen under the supervision of the doctor.
The woman was cycling with her husband. It is unknown how the accident could have happened. The accident site has been cordoned off. Police traffic specialists are investigating the cause of the accident.
