A motorist drove into a lamppost on the Beverstraat in Helmond last night and ended up in the bushes with her car. Someone who saw this suspected the woman was drunk and alerted the police. The officers smelled a strong smell of alcohol when they arrived at the car. The driver did not respond to them. They then removed the key from the ignition of the car. The driver had a blood alcohol level of almost 2.3 and did not have a valid driver’s license. She got a report.
