Two men were arrested on Monday evening at the Burgemeester Brokxlaan in Tilburg. They threatened a man and his friends, demanded money and wanted to take the victim’s backpack. The victim’s friends were able to run away and called the police. The two suspects then fled.
Police searched the area for the two suspects. An attentive passerby, who saw the many police cars, saw that two men were running in the neighborhood and stopped them. The three got into a fight, but two officers quickly jumped in and arrested the two suspects. It concerns two men of no known place of residence or whereabouts, aged 24 and 36. They turned out to be carrying two knives.
