A cyclist was hit around eleven o’clock this morning on the Langenbergseweg between Gilze and Alphen. It went wrong when the cyclist crossed the street, while a motorist was approaching. The motorist tried to avoid the cyclist, but was unable to avoid a collision. The car then ended up in a ditch. The cyclist was rushed to a hospital in an ambulance.
